Ebensburg Turkey Trot 2026
The Ebensburg Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day road race organized by EARC in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. The event includes a 5K course that passes near the Ghost Town Trail and features live music and musicians positioned along the route. Residents line the course to cheer participants.
The course is described as hilly, with the main climbs concentrated in the first mile. Route details are available on MapMyRun. The event offers packet pickup both before race day at Up N Running (208 W. High Street, Ebensburg) during that store's business hours on the Tuesday and Wednesday of the week of Thanksgiving, and on race day at the race site.
The organizers collect canned goods and hygiene products for the Dorothy Day Outreach Center in Loretto; donations may be brought to early packet pickup or to the race day pickup location. A $100 bonus is offered to any runner who officially breaks a course record. Current course record times are 15:13 for men (2021) and 17:23 for women (2023). Historical results are available for events from 2010 through 2025.
Registration for the 2026 edition is open. Registrants who register by November 2 are guaranteed event swag. Registration options and fees are posted for the season and include an in store registration option at Up N Running through November 25 with a same day retail discount offer.
