The Corewell Health Pennock Summerfest Run is an annual event in Hastings, Michigan. It is part of the Summerfest festivities and supports health and wellness programs.
Distances
The event offers the following distances:
- Summerfest 5K Run/Walk for general participants.
- Student (18 and younger) Summerfest 5K Run/Walk for younger participants.
- Kids FREE 1-mile Fun Run for children aged 12 and younger.
Beneficiary
All proceeds from the event go to the Corewell Health Foundation at Pennock Hospital. The funds support programs at the Pennock Wellness Center, such as Momentum, which helps patients with mobility. Funds are also used to add equipment for community strength and injury prevention, and to offer the kids' run for free.
Location and Schedule
The race day headquarters is at Thornapple Plaza, 301 E. State Street, Hastings. Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the event at the Corewell Health Pennock Wellness Center on W. Green Street, and on race day at Thornapple Plaza. The general 5K registration price is $35, increasing after August 1.
