Pemberton - Night Adventure Run
This event is a six hour training run consisting of repeated 5K loops on marked trails at 5561 Plantation Lane, Salisbury, MD. The course will use trails similar to those planned for the main event and will be clearly marked for the loop distance. Organizers will open a new 5K loop every hour with hourly check ins to track progress.
Participants should expect no organized hydration or fuel provided by the event. Ample parking is available on site, and a separate area is provided for personal aid stations or camp setups. A signup system will be used to track participants for safety during the night run. Space is limited to 50 runners and the event is free.
Registration opens June 3, 2026. The Preservation Trust of Wicomico is mentioned in connection with the event. The Trust is a volunteer based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that maintains a county wide inventory of historic resources, supports historic districts, and promotes public awareness through restoration projects such as Pemberton Hall.
