Pearl Street Mile : Downtown Boulder, June 27, 2026
The Pearl Street Mile is the 29th edition of a downtown Boulder running event held on the Pearl Street Mall on June 27, 2026. The event uses a criterium, multi-lapped course that begins near Spruce Street and 14th Street and completes 3.75 laps around the Boulder Court House and up the Pearl Street Mall.
Distances and race types:
- 1 mile races in multiple categories including family and friends, pace-based heats, high school fields, masters and elite divisions.
- 800 m kids race.
Pace-based heats are organized by target mile times, including groups for 10:00 per mile and slower, 9:00–9:59, 8:00–8:59, 7:00–7:59, 6:00–6:59, and 5:00–5:59. The course passes several historic Boulder landmarks such as the Boulderado Hotel (1909), Boulder Theater (1906), Boulder Court House (1933), and the Pearl Street Mall (1977). The event typically attracts large roadside crowds and includes a DJ on the mall.
Registration for the main mile opens January 22, 2026 and closes March 27, 2026; the listed entry fee for the mile is $35.00 and for the kids 800 m is $15.00. Event rules noted by the organizer include that baby strollers are allowed, dogs are not permitted in the races, and race entry fees are nonrefundable.
