Peak Raid Race 2 Edale
Peak Raid Race 2 Edale takes place in Edale on 18 October 2026 and is the second of four events in the Peak Raid 2026 series. Each event in the series is a three hour score race using SiTiming, and the competitor's best three results count toward the overall league.
The event is a fell running score format in which competitors receive a waterproof map and a control description with points values. Runners have three hours to visit controls and collect points; points are deducted for late returns. Competitors select their own route, enabling route choice based on ability, terrain and weather.
Terrain covers Peak District hills, moors and dales, ranging from high moorland that requires accurate navigation to more runnable limestone dales with a good network of footpaths. The series supports solo entries and pairs, including mixed pairs and a parent or guardian with an under 18 category. Age categories are determined by age on 31/12/2026 and the minimum entry age is 14 on the event date.
Entries open 11 February 2026 and close 15 October 2026. Entry fees are £20 early bird, £22 standard and £25 late, with a £2 reduction for FRA members. To be eligible for series prizes a competitor must complete at least two races. The event is organised by Explorer Events.
