Run Heaton Park events
Run Heaton organises a series of timed races at Heaton Park in Manchester. The programme for 2026 returns with the established distances and the addition of a kids race. The event supports Francis House Children’s Hospice.
The venue covers over 600 acres and includes the grounds of a Grade I listed neoclassical 18th century country house, Heaton Hall. The course starts and finishes inside Heaton Park and runs entirely on the park’s concrete paths, allowing participants to follow measured routes within the park grounds. Races are chip timed.
Available distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Kids race
The organiser publishes event guides, course and venue information, travel instructions, results, and photos. Multiple event dates are listed for 2026 and 2027, with sample dates shown for October and November 2026 and several dates in 2027. Partners and suppliers for the event are noted, and there are options for charity fundraising and volunteering at the event.
Information is presented for participants and spectators about the course, venue and event services rather than specific start times or individual contact details. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
