Event overview
The Peacock Gap Trail Run takes place on December 6, 2025, at China Camp State Park and Harry Barbier Memorial Park in San Rafael, CA. The event offers the following distances:

- Half Marathon
- 10K
The event has a total capacity of 275 runners across all distances. All races are chip timed with disposable chips attached to the back of each bib. There is no charge for parking; participants are asked to park along N. San Pedro Road at the Miwok Meadows picnic area and walk up the dirt access road to the start/finish area. Dogs are allowed at the start/finish area but are not permitted on the park trails. Drop bag services are not available.
Course, aid, and policies
Courses use mostly moderately technical dirt single-track and non-technical fire roads. Hiking or trekking poles are permitted. Published course distances and elevation gains are: 30K (19.5 miles, 2,735 ft gain), Half Marathon (13.1 miles, 1,800 ft gain), 10K (6.3 miles, 1,140 ft gain). Courses are marked with colored surveyor ribbon; blue ribbons indicate wrong-way trails. Aid stations provide a range of items such as energy gels, chews, Stroopwafels, trail mix, pretzels, potato chips, PB&J sandwiches, soft drinks, water, Skratch hydration mix, salt tablets, and seasonal fruit.
