Peach Classic Triathlon
The Peach Classic Triathlon, established in 1983 in Penticton, British Columbia, stands as one of Canada’s oldest triathlons. Operated by the Penticton Triathlon Club, the event is hosted at Rotary Park, located at Martin Street and Lakeshore Drive West.
The course features a swim in the temperate waters of Lake Okanagan, followed by cycling and running segments that highlight the local landscape. The route includes sandy beaches, flat sections, and rolling hills, with an out-and-back run along Lakeshore Drive that connects to the KVR trail. Participants traverse areas offering views of the valley, orchards, and local wineries.
The event serves as a competitive hub with several sanctioned opportunities:
- Standard (Provincial Championships and World Championship Qualifier)
- Sprint (World Championship Qualifier)
- Aquabike (World Championship Qualifier)
- Aquathlon (World Championship Qualifier)

- Kids Races
The competition is open to a wide range of participants, from professional athletes aiming for world championship qualification to newcomers.
