Pawling 24 Hour Trail Running Festival
The Pawling 24 Hour Trail Running Festival at Lakeside Park in Pawling, NY is organized by Conquer The World / C.T.W Endurance and is returning for its sixth edition. The event features timed races on a set-distance loop and offers these options:
- 24 hour timed race
- 12 hour day race
- 12 hour night race
- 6 hour race
- 3 hour race
The course is an about 1.68 mile loop composed of pavement, grass, and single track trail with roughly 160 feet of gain per loop. The festival includes on-course support, food, and music. The event is cupless; participants should plan personal hydration accordingly.
There is a large grass field beside the loop for athletes, crew, and spectators to set up tents and home bases on a first come first serve basis. An indoor building near the loop provides restrooms and an option for shelter. Participants must cross the timing mat before accessing crew spots. An aid station will provide basic ultra nutrition and hydration including Skratch and UCAN products, water, sodas, beer, bagels, fruit, and candy. All finishers receive medals. Awards are given to the top three male and female in each race, with 12 hour awards combined. Pacers are not allowed. For the 24 hour race limited support laps are permitted and exceeding the limit can result in disqualification. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
