Pawling 24 Hour Trail Running Festival
The event takes place September 19 to 20, 2026 at Lakeside Park in Pawling, NY and is organized by CTW Endurance. This is the sixth running of the Pawling 24 Hour Trail Running Festival and it offers several timed races on a repeated loop course.
Race options include:
- 24 hour timed race
- 12 hour day timed race
- 12 hour night timed race
- 6 hour timed race
- 3 hour timed race
The course uses an about 1.68 mile loop that mixes pavement, grass, and single track trail. Each loop has roughly 160 feet of elevation gain. All races are run on the same set loop, and distance is determined by how far a runner covers within their allotted time.
Race logistics note a large grass field near the loop for athlete bases, crew, tents, and spectator space; spaces are on a first come first serve basis and athletes must cross the timing mat before moving to their spots. An indoor building near the loop provides shelter options and restrooms. The event is cupless.
On-course support includes an aid station with products such as Skratch and UCAN, water, sodas, athletic brewing, bagels, fruit, and candy. Finisher medals are awarded to all finishers, and the top three male and female finishers in each race receive awards, with 12 hour awards combined. Pacers are not allowed. For 24 hour competitors, support persons may join on course for up to three laps; exceeding this can lead to disqualification. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
