3rd Annual Patriot 5K - Halloween Edition
The 3rd Annual Patriot 5K - Halloween Edition is scheduled for October 31, 2026, at Lenape Valley Regional High School in Stanhope, New Jersey. The event features a 5K running race. Registration opens August 13, 2026 and closes September 15, 2026; the listed registration fee is $35.00.
The course begins and ends on the high school campus and uses a combination of campus paths and surrounding neighborhood streets. The route is described as well marked and includes gentle rolling hills, with volunteers positioned along the course. The finish returns to the high school campus.
A Halloween costume contest is part of the event with awards given for Best Adult Costume, Best Child Costume, and Best Family or Group Costume (three or more). The organizer asks that costumes be safe and comfortable for running.
Overall awards include a $100 gift card for 1st Place Overall Male and a $100 gift card for 1st Place Overall Female. Every registered participant receives a custom Halloween Patriot 5K finisher medal, and a commemorative race T-shirt will be provided to the first 150 registered participants.
