Strides for Education 5K Run/Walk
The Education Foundation of Morris Plains (EFMP) organizes the Strides for Education 5K Run/Walk on October 25, 2026, in Morris Plains, New Jersey. The event is presented as a hybrid format: participants may join in person on a certified, flat course through the streets of Morris Plains or run virtually at their chosen location on the same date.

Race proceeds benefit all students in the Morris Plains School District. Funds raised support programs at Mountain Way and Borough Schools.
Awards include medals for the top three male and female finishers overall and in age categories for the 5K: 11 and under, 12 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, and 50 and over. A team challenge is part of the event; the largest team receives a prize.
Registration is open and an early-registration discount is available to those who register by September 15, 2026. A certified 5K course map is provided.
