The Patrick Riddell April Run Series Race 3 takes place at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This event offers several distance options for participants, alongside a virtual component for those who prefer to complete their run at a personal location. The live event is held on a course that remains open to vehicular traffic, with traffic marshals and lead cyclists assisting with navigation.

Participants use a single-use timing chip attached to their shoe, which records the chip time from the start line mat to the finish line. Aid stations are positioned at the start/finish area and at the 2.2 km mark. Medical first responders are available at the finish line and on bicycles throughout the course to provide assistance if required.
Results from this event contribute to the Manitoba Runners Association Youth Series and Classic Series. Race kit pick-up is organized on the morning of the event at the Assiniboine Park Pavilion. On-site parking is available at the East side of the Pavilion parking lot, though vehicles are restricted from leaving until the event concludes.
