Winnipeg Police Service Half Marathon : event description
The Winnipeg Police Service Half Marathon is scheduled for May 3, 2026, at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Registration opens on November 1, 2025. The event offers live and virtual participation options and raises funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.

- 21 km (half marathon, solo, 13.1 miles)
- 5 km (solo)
- 2-person relay (each runner completes about 10.5 km)
- Virtual events (5 km and half marathon)
Race kit pick-up is at the Charleswood Curling Club, 4000 Grant Avenue, on May 1 and May 2, 2026. Virtual participants may upload results between April 25 and June 1, 2026; medals for virtual finishers are mailed the first week of May. Race shirts are not included with virtual registration and are not mailed; remaining shirts are available for purchase at the race site after the live event and then stored.
The event reports having raised over CA$2.8 million for the Canadian Cancer Society to date and relies each year on hundreds of volunteers. All events are non-refundable and transfers or refunds will not be issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
