The Patrick Riddell April Run Series consists of three separate running events. This listing is for Race 1. It includes both a live, in-person event and a virtual running option.

Live Event Details

The live event takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Participants can choose from two race distances:

There is no awards ceremony scheduled for this race. The course remains open to vehicular traffic, with traffic marshals and cyclists present. Medical first responders from St. John Ambulance provide aid at the finish line and on the course. An aid station is located at the start/finish and 2.2 km from the start. Results will be posted on the Manitoba Runners Association (MRA) website.

Virtual Event Option

A virtual option is available for those who prefer to run on their own schedule. Participants can complete their chosen distance at any location between March 29 and April 10, 2026, and submit their results online.

Registration and Discounts

Registration is available online. Early bird, normal, and late registration pricing tiers are offered. Discounts are available for those who register for the entire three-event series, as well as for validated members of the MRA and Triathlon Manitoba.
