Pathfinders Warrior Run 5K
Pathfinders Warrior Run 5K is scheduled for October 31, 2026 at the Ethan Community Center in Ethan, South Dakota. The event is presented by BeYOUtiful Strides Running Club and is described as a noncompetitive 5K run/walk with a camouflage theme.
The organizer is a running club for boys in grades 2 through 6 in Ethan. The club meets for eight weeks each season; typical meetings include a Bible devotion or weekly verse followed by about 30 minutes of walking and running. The Warrior Run serves as the club's end of season 5K.
The listing notes a registration fee of $30, which includes an event shirt. The event emphasizes mentorship and encouragement, encouraging men and boys to participate together as accountability partners. The theme invites participants to wear camouflage attire, while the organizers also welcome cheering from others, including signs from mothers and girls.
Prizes are planned for the most camo covered participants, the best encouraging sign, and for the most encouraging houses along the route. The event is described as community oriented and noncompetitive, and it references a faith element in its theme and club activities with a citation to MT 5:14-16.
