Palace City Kiwanis Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
The Palace City Kiwanis event, nicknamed "The A-MAIZE-Ing Race," is a community running event held at The World's Only Corn Palace on North Main Street in Mitchell, South Dakota. The event date is October 4, 2026. Packet pickup is held at the Corn Palace the day before and on race day. A Kiwanis Kids Fun Run is scheduled in the Corn Palace Plaza during the race weekend.

All proceeds are directed to the Kiwanis Club of Mitchell to support youth programs and facilities, including Girls on the Run, Big Friend Little Friend, the Story Walk at Patton Young Park, and the inclusive playground at Kiwanis Woodlot Park.
