Path to the Parade 5K

The Path to the Parade 5K is organized on the Farmington Canal Trail in Hamden, CT. The USATF certified 5K course is described as flat and fast on a paved, off-road, wide trail. Start and finish are located at Devonshire Hall, 109 Sanford Street, Hamden, CT 06514.

The event offers multiple participation options and a post-race celebration with entertainment at the Playwright Irish Pub, 1232 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, CT 06517. Runners, walkers, strollers and leashed dogs are welcome on the trail. A race t-shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed through Sunday, August 9, 2026. The registration fee is $35.

Early packet pick-up is available at Woodbridge Running Company, 7 Landin Street, Woodbridge, CT on Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20 from 2 PM to 6 PM. Virtual participants may have shirts mailed and are invited to submit results; virtual entries are not eligible for overall or age-group awards in official race timing.
