Patagonia Salmon Run 5K - Overview
The Patagonia Salmon Run 5K is scheduled for Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Ventura, California. This is the 29th annual edition of the event. The race beneficiary is South Coast Habitat Restoration, a Carpinteria-based nonprofit that supports fish restoration and is working on a fish passage project in the Ventura River watershed at Wheeler Gorge campground, removing four migration barriers and installing two bridges. The event is being organized as a zero-waste event; participants are asked to bring a water bottle and coffee mug. 5K distance.

Event parking will be at 210 W. Main St., Ventura, CA 93001 or 96 S. Olive St., Ventura, CA 93001, with the race route nearby. Packet pickup begins at 7:30 AM on Sunday, November 16. There will not be day-of registration; online registration closes at noon on Monday, November 10, 2025, or when the race sells out. The listed registration fee is $48.70, which includes a $3.70 processing fee; the price increases after November 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM PDT. The Patagonia store at 235 W. Santa Clara St., Ventura, CA 93001 will offer a 25% discount on full-priced Patagonia items to racers who bring their bib, valid from November 16 through November 22, 2025.
