Parkview Christian Academy Annual Turkey Trot
The Parkview Christian Academy Annual Turkey Trot is a community 5K held on Thanksgiving in Yorkville, Illinois. The course distance is 3.1 Miles (5K) and the event is run as a timed race. The race takes place at Parkview Christian Academy, 202 E. Countryside Parkway, Yorkville, IL 60560.
All participants receive a finishers medal. A race hoodie is offered to registrants who register by November 1. Overall prizes are awarded to the first place male, female, and youth, and 1st through 3rd place trophies are given in male and female divisions for these age groups: 16 and under; 17 to 25; 26 to 35; 36 to 45; 46 to 55; and 56 and over. Food, drinks, and music are provided at the event.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Parkview Christian Academy Upper Campus and on race day; packets may be collected by friends or family members. Youth is defined as 16 years and younger for registration categories. Results from the timed event are posted online after the race.
