Waterman Gobbler Gallop 2026
The Waterman Gobbler Gallop is a community 5K walk and run presented by the Waterman Lions Club and held at Indian Creek Middle School, 335 E. Garfield St., Waterman, Illinois. The course begins and ends at the school, follows village streets, and is described as fast and flat with scenic views of the town.
Registration options include pre-registration and same-day entry, with tiered fees: $30 through October 31, $35 from November 1 through November 20, and $40 for same-day registration; no refunds are offered. Teams are eligible to compete; a team must consist of four members. The event is fully supported on course and offers post-event refreshments. Strollers are permitted.
Awards are given to the top overall finishers and masters categories, with age-category awards for male and female top three finishers across a wide range of age divisions from youth through seniors. Participants receive an official Gobbler Gallop T-shirt while supplies last. Proceeds benefit Waterman Lions Club programs and projects.
