Parallel Windsor Festival of Inclusivity
Parallel Windsor is a festival of inclusivity held on 5 July 2026 in Windsor Great Park, staged along the Long Walk. The event offers a programme of challenge events for people of all ages, health conditions and abilities. Participants may walk, push or run and there are no cut off times. The event uses the phrase Start Together, Finish Whenever.
Every person who starts a challenge receives a medal, a t shirt and a goody bag. There is also an option to enter virtually; virtual entries receive a medal and a t shirt.
A dedicated SuperSensory 1 km supports neurodiversity and participants with profound and multiple disabilities. That route presents a series of sensory challenges that invite responses to sound, taste, touch and smell.
The festival programme includes a range of activities and entertainment such as music, dance, inclusive sport, storytelling, arts and crafts, a sensory zone, quiet space and street food. Onsite facilities listed for accessibility include parking, accessible toilets and changing, medical support, sensory space and quiet space. Support and assistance animals are welcome.
