The Parade 5K Road Run - Elkhart County 4-H Fair is a 5K road race held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Goshen, Indiana (17746 -D County Road 34, Elkhart County 4-H Fair). The course follows the Elkhart County Fair parade route and is run in front of spectators. The parade follows the last runner on the route, so participants are asked to complete the course in a timely manner.
Logistics and race details
Check-in and packet pickup are at Corporate Tent 1 on the northeast end of the fairgrounds, directly north of the race track near gate 5; runners must pick up their race shirt and race number bib prior to participating. To guarantee a race shirt, registration should be completed by July 1, 2026. Registered runners are bused to the starting area at Rogers Park by Cardinal Buses; those without the current issued Parade 5K race number may not use the provided transportation or run. Two water stations are available on the route and ice towels are provided at the finish. Prizes are awarded to the top male and top female finishers. Running with strollers is permitted; pets are not allowed. A youth mile fun run may take place separately on the horse track. Results are posted on Wattsmytime and RunSignup. Participants are advised that temperatures are often warm and to hydrate as needed. Bandit (unregistered) participation is not allowed.
