Popeye and Olive Oil's 5K
Popeye and Olive Oil's 5K is presented as the 16th Dixie Day 5K in lakeside North Webster, Indiana, on July 25, 2026. The event is a 3.1 miles running race held at 301 N Main St, North Webster, IN 46555. The race supports the North Webster Food Pantry and organizers will accept a special collection of non perishable food items.
The event uses professional timing and awards prizes by age group for both male and female categories. Prize age divisions listed by the organizer are 2-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 plus. Themed costumes representing Popeye or Olive Oil are encouraged and prizes will be given for costume entries.
Registration fees vary by date: $20 through May 23, $25 from May 24 through July 25, and $30 on the day of the event. Online registration cutoff is July 19. Pre-registrations received by July 17 are guaranteed a free t shirt; t shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations received after that date. Registration and bib pick up take place at the North Webster Community Center. Following the race, there are downtown North Webster festivities.
