Papertown Trail Races at Chestnut Mountain Nature Park
Papertown Trail Races is the second running of a trail race event held at Chestnut Mountain Nature Park in Canton, North Carolina. The event takes place on October 10, 2026, and uses the Chestnut Mountain Bridge Area as the race start and finish location. Packet pickup and on-site late registration are available at the park on race day.
Two trail distances are offered:
- Approximately 6.2 miles
- Approximately 9.3 miles
The short course includes named turns and a series of trail intersections; the long course course details are listed as forthcoming. The course will have signs marking every turn and one on-course water station. Runners are advised to carry their own fluids or nutrition.
Timing is electronic using chips affixed to the back of race bibs; bibs are to be worn on the front of clothing for finish-line visibility. Post-race water and light snacks will be available near the finish area. Dogs are allowed in the parking and trailhead areas but are not permitted on the race course. All parking will be in the Chestnut Mountain parking lot.
The event has a no refund and no deferral policy. Registrations may be transferred to another distance or to another person for a processing fee and must be completed by October 8, 2026.
