Event information

The Panther 5K Pi Run takes place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, in Yarmouth, ME (148 Main Street, 04096). The race program includes an in-person Panther 5K Pi Run and a Virtual Panther Pi Run 5K. Entry fee for each event is $20. Registration opens on September 1, 2026 at 8:00 am EDT. Participants who register by October 30 will receive a free shirt; shirts remain available on race day but size is not guaranteed after October 30. Race day registration is available. One hundred percent of proceeds go to The NYA Class of 2027 Project Graduation. The top three male and top three female finishers receive a pie from Clayton’s Cafe.

Course and logistics

The course is described as consisting mostly of paved footpaths. It goes over bridges, into the park, along the river and through the woods, finishing just past the historic mill. The run begins and ends in front of NYA's lower school. The advertised distance is 3.14 miles (the "Pi" run). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
