Westbrook High School Turkey Trot 5K
The Westbrook High School Turkey Trot takes place on November 22, 2026 at Westbrook High School, 126 Stroudwater St., Westbrook, ME. The event is a fundraiser; all proceeds go to Project Graduation for the class of 2027.
Distances available:
- 1 mile Kids Mile on the high school track
- 3.1 miles Turkey Trot 5K on a mixed road and trail course
The Kids Mile is designed for participants aged 12 and under and is held on the high school track. The traditional 5K route passes a trail behind the high school and middle school, continues down Stroudwater to Monroe and Glenwood, goes behind Canal School, and finishes at the starting area. The course is described as having few hills and limited rough terrain.
Bib pickup is available the day before the event, November 21, and on the morning of the event. A timing service will be used and results will be posted. All participants will receive a commemorative Turkey Trot 2026 medal.
If extreme weather warrants cancellation, organizers will notify participants; the race will not be postponed in that case. No refunds will be issued for cancellations or if participants choose not to race due to weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
