Palo Alto Weekly Moonlight Run & Walk
The Palo Alto Weekly Moonlight Run & Walk is a benefit event that supports local nonprofits serving children and families and local independent journalism. The event is presented by the City of Palo Alto and will mark its 42nd anniversary on September 25, 2026 at the Palo Alto Baylands, taking place under the full moon.

The half marathon will not be held in 2026 because of construction along the route; organizers plan to restore the half marathon in 2027 once construction is complete. The 10K course has been updated for 2026.
A merchandise booth will be on site selling posters, t-shirts, tote bags, stickers, and memberships to Palo Alto Online and related publications. All proceeds from merch sales support local journalism. No cash is accepted on site; payments are by card or mobile only.
