Race details
Distances:
- Bay Ridge 100k
- Firetrails 50 Mile
- Golden Hills Marathon
All races are UTMB Index events. The 50-mile race is part of the Pacific USATF Grand Prix. Time limits are imposed for each distance and cutoffs are firm because of East Bay Regional Parks curfew rules; runners who miss cutoffs will be removed from the course. Pacers are permitted for the 100k and 50-mile races and must register in advance; pacers are not allowed for the marathon. Drop bags are supported and will be transported to designated aid stations; retrieval policies depend on aid station and park closing times. Most aid stations are vehicle accessible and allow crew unless specifically marked otherwise. Finishers receive event apparel, a finisher hoodie, a wine glass, a custom bib, a finisher woodallion, and race photos; the 100k also receives a rhino belt buckle. Age-group awards are given in 10-year categories. Parking at Lake Chabot may require a fee and street parking is an alternative. Volunteers who give six or more hours may be eligible for future event entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
