Jeepers Creepers 1 Miler, 5K and 10K
The event is a trail run at Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont, North Carolina on October 10, 2026. It offers three distances and uses the conservancy grounds and trails, including crushed concrete and shaded singletrack that passes near Lake Wylie. The 10K is held over two loops and is the longest distance offered at Stowe. The start and finish area is at the Trailhead Store.
Participants in the run or walk receive free admission to The Gardens to see the fall exhibit Scarecrow Hollow when they present their race bib. Race photography is available from OCR Photography. After the event there will be firepits, s'mores, cold beverages, and cornhole at the Trailhead Store.
Awards and medals are provided as follows. The 5K gives custom awards to the top three overall men and women and to top three men and women in age groups from 14 and under through 70 and better in five year age increments. The 10K gives custom awards to the top three overall men and women and to top three men and women in age groups from under 10 through 70 and better in ten year age increments. Finisher medals for the 5K and 10K are available during registration while supplies last.
