Jeepers Creepers 1 Miler, 5K and 10K
Jeepers Creepers is a fall trail event held at Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont, NC on October 10, 2026. The event takes place on the conservancy grounds and uses the Trailhead Store area as the start and finish location.
Distances offered:
- 1 Miler : untimed, no awards, on crushed concrete trails.
- 5K
- 10K : two-loop course, the longest distance held each year at Stowe.
The 5K and 10K courses wind through shaded trails toward Lake Wylie and return uphill to the Trailhead Store. Finisher medals for the 5K and 10K are available during registration while supplies last. The 5K awards top three overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups from 14 and under through 70 and better. The 10K awards top three overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in ten-year age groups from under 10 through 70 and better.
Runners and walkers receive free admission to The Gardens fall exhibit "Scarecrow Hollow" when presenting their race bib. Race photos will be available. Post-race amenities at the Trailhead Store include firepits, s'mores, cold beverages, and cornhole.
Registration policies note there are no refunds unless the Refund Protection Program was purchased, race management may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions, and fees are not refundable in the event of Acts of God. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
