Jeepers Creepers 1 Miler, 5K and 10K
The event on October 10, 2026 takes place at Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont, North Carolina. It is the third annual edition and includes multiple distances that use the conservancy grounds and trails.
Distances
- 1 Miler (untimed, gravel trails through fields and forests)
- 5K (start and finish at the Trailhead Store, shaded trails toward Lake Wylie)
- 10K (start and finish at the Trailhead Store, two-loop course on trails)
The 1 Miler is new this year and uses crushed concrete trails. The 5K and 10K courses wind through shaded trails, head toward Lake Wylie, then return uphill to the Trailhead Store. The 10K is noted as the longest distance held each year at the conservancy.
Participants who show their race bib receive free admission to The Gardens to view the fall exhibit "Scarecrow Hollow." Race photos will be available from OCR Photography. Finisher medals for the 5K and 10K are offered during registration while supplies last.
Awards for the 5K include custom awards to the top three overall male and female finishers and top three in five-year age groups from 14 and under through 70 and better. Awards for the 10K include custom awards to the top three overall male and female finishers and top three in ten-year age groups from under 10 through 70 and better.
Post-race amenities at the Trailhead Store include firepits, s'mores, cold beverages, and cornhole. Registration and refund policies are set by race management. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
