The Bit of Hope Ranch 5K Trail Run, 2K Walk, & Half-Pint Run is scheduled for Saturday, October 10. The event takes place on a 50-acre horse ranch in southern Gaston County, North Carolina. The 5K is a certified trail run. The event is held rain or shine and will be canceled if there is lightning.

Entry fees listed by the organizer are: 5K runners $35 (early price $30 until August 31), 2K walkers $35 (early price $30 until August 31), Half-Pint $15, and virtual 5K $20.
