Pagan Midwinter Half Marathon : Chagford, Dartmoor
PAGAN Trails returns in midwinter to Chagford in the north-eastern corner of Dartmoor. The event features two trail distances that visit many stone circles and pagan sites of north Dartmoor and run across moorland and valley terrain.
- Marathon - over 28 miles, over 1500 m ascent
- Half Marathon - well over 14 miles, almost 700 m ascent
The courses are set in winter conditions on Dartmoor and include substantial ascent and off-road terrain. The event is scheduled for Saturday 23 January 2027 and is based around Chagford Cricket and Football Club, Devon.
Entry requirements include a minimum age of 17 on the event date. Entry fees listed for this event are £48 for UKA members and £50 for non-members. Entries open 6 February 2026 and close 20 January 2027.
