The Dartmoor Crossing / Great Escape is an exciting running event set in the stunning landscapes of Dartmoor, taking place on August 9, 2025. The Dartmoor Crossing is a challenging 33.5-mile ultra-distance race that traverses open moorland and two of Dartmoor's 600m summits, featuring a fully marked course with aid stations. The Great Escape is a long half-marathon covering the last 15.5 miles of the Crossing, showcasing the beauty of Dartmoor's terrain.
