Relays Series - Exeter
The Relays Series in Exeter includes two relay events organised by City Runs. Each event uses teams of four with each person running one leg. Teams may be club or fun teams.
Distances for the events:
- Run Exe Relays: 4km road out and back on flat, traffic-free shared footpaths.
- Haldon Relays: 3km trail loop on undulating forest tracks.
Run Exe Relays is based at Exwick Playing Fields and follows an approximately 4km out and back course on road and shared paths. Haldon Relays takes place in Haldon Forest on a fun, interesting 3km trail loop.
Entry fees are listed by team type and age: adult affiliated teams from £56 (£14.00 per runner), adult unattached teams £64 (£16.00 per runner), junior affiliated teams £34 (£8.50 per runner), and junior unattached teams £38 (£9.50 per runner). Team captains enter the team and must submit runners' names and running order the week before the event.
Affiliated teams are placed into an age category based on the youngest team member. If a team includes an under 16 runner the team is placed into the senior 17 to 39 category. Teams that do not meet category requirements may compete but will be non-scoring and ineligible for prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
