Paddy Buckley Round
The Paddy Buckley Round is a guided, supported loop through Northern Snowdonia that covers just over 100 km with approximately 9,000 m of ascent and descent and visits 47 mountain tops over three days. Small groups run up to 40 km per day and are led by a mountaineering instructor with detailed route knowledge.
Each day the group returns to Capel Curig, where a range of accommodation options are available including hotels, hostels and campsites. The event uses a low guide to participant ratio, with a maximum of one leader for every six participants. A support vehicle and a qualified leader accompany the group and refuelling opportunities with food and drink are provided at midpoints on each day. Daily transport out and back from the Capel Curig base is included.
Places are limited because of the terrain and the supervision required. The next open event listed runs from Tuesday 21st July to Thursday 23rd July 2026, with a maximum of six places and a cost of £749. Other dates are available for groups. Accommodation, personal food and cancellation insurance are not included. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
