Paddy Buckley Round
The Paddy Buckley Round is a guided, supported loop through Northern Snowdonia covering just over 100 km with about 9,000 m of ascent and descent and visiting 47 mountain tops over three days. The route is run in small groups with daily distances of up to 40 km, and participants are led by a mountaineering instructor with detailed knowledge of the route.
Each day returns to a base in Capel Curig, where hotels, hostels and campsites are available. The event runs in small cohorts with a maximum of six places for the open event listed. The published cost for the event is £749 and other dates are available for groups.
Included in the event are low-ratio guiding and supervision (maximum 1:6), refuelling opportunities at midpoints on all days with food and drink, a support vehicle with a qualified leader for additional help on the hill, and daily transport out from and back to the Capel Curig base.
