Ozan Haunted Wine Run 5k
The event is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at Ozan Winery & Vineyard in Calera, Alabama on October 18, 2026. The course is an out and back along the road with a mild downhill on the first half and a slight incline on the return. Results will be posted online.
Registration includes a Super Soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Participants receive a pour of wine at the finish; minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but do not receive a wine glass or a glass of wine.
The event offers age group awards for the top three finishers in each category. Age groups are split by decade: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & Over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for an age group award. Age group medals are available for pickup at the event and will not be shipped; winners should check posted results and collect awards at the registration table.
Additional notes: walking is allowed, strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground, children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register, and dogs are not allowed on site due to USDA farm rules.
