Run Undead Ultra Trail Party, Pelham, AL, December 31, 2026
Run Undead is a New Year’s Eve trail event held at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, Alabama. The event uses a roughly 5 mile single track loop with about 350 feet of climb and descent per lap on a mostly smooth surface with some rocks and roots. Runners may change direction after the first lap. Canopies are permitted at the start and finish area.

- 100K
- 50 Miler
- 50K
- 25K
There is one aid station at the start/finish that provides a variety of ultra foods and hydration. A 36 hour overall cutoff applies. The event includes evening and overnight entertainment, including continuous music, a midnight ball drop, dance offs, and karaoke. Organizers note multiple hotels and restaurants within a few miles of the park. This is the fifth year the event has been held and it is presented as a social gathering for trail runners in the Southeast. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
