Run Undead Ultra Trail Party
The Run Undead Ultra Trail Party was held on December 31, 2025 at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, AL (200 Terrace Dr). The event offered multiple ultramarathon distances run as laps on a single loop trail.
Races used a roughly 5 mile single track loop with about 350 feet of elevation gain and loss per lap. The loop surface is described as generally smooth with some rocks and roots. Runners could change running direction after the first lap. There was one aid station at the start and finish area supplying food and hydration. Participants could set up canopies at the start/finish. Several hotels and restaurants are located within a few miles of the park.
The event combined overnight running with ongoing entertainment. Organizers provided round the clock music, a ball drop at midnight, and social activities such as dance offs and karaoke. A 36 hour cutoff applied to all distances. Loop counts by distance were posted as follows:
- 25K: 3 loops
- 50K: 6 loops
- 50 miles: 10 loops
- 100K: 12 loops
- 100 miles: 20 loops
