Oxfordshire Triathlon Series (Olympic Standard Distance)
The Oxfordshire Triathlon Series comprises two races in 2026 held at Queenford Water Park, Dorchester, Oxon OX10 7PQ. One race in June is a sprint distance and the August race is a standard Olympic distance. The August event also offers a relay option.
Distances:
- Sprint (June): 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run.
- Olympic (August): 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run.
The swim takes place in open lake water and includes an entry and exit ramp. The bike course is on tarmac through Oxfordshire countryside and is described as undulating, with a mix of flat sections and short steep sections. The run is a traffic free lap around the lake perimeter on flat grass. The transition area is on grass and includes a short ascent across about 50m.
Event logistics and amenities include chip timing, aid stations on the run, accessible parking, parking, catering and toilets. Participants receive free race photos, a custom finishers medal and a free finisher beer.
