Newbury Racecourse Half Marathon, 10k & 5k - 14 August 2027
The event offers three accurately measured, looped distances around the tarmac circuit at Newbury Racecourse. The course is described as flat and fast with clearly signposted kilometre markers and route marshals positioned around the course.
Distances
- 5K: one lap of the racecourse.
- 10K: two laps of the racecourse.
- Half Marathon: four laps plus an additional short section.
Entries include a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos, post-race goodies and a bag drop. Timed results record PBs, season bests and national rankings. Water stations are provided on course: the 5K has a station at about 2.5 km and the 10K has three stations at approximately 2.5 km, 5.5 km and 7.5 km; water is also available at the finish.
Event logistics centre on an on-site event village located near the finish area where race pack collection and baggage drop are organised. There is ample free parking for competitors in Car Park 4 adjacent to the event village; use postcode RG14 5AW for access. Note that Car Park 4 cannot be reached from the west side of Racecourse Road.
The venue is served by Newbury Racecourse train station, one stop from Newbury Station, and is accessible by foot and bicycle. Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome; only assistance dogs are permitted on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
