The Over the Creek and Through the Woods trail run takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Pierce Cedar Creek Institute, 701 W Cloverdale Rd., Hastings, MI 49058. The event offers a short trail race and a community fun run and supports the institute's mission to inspire appreciation and stewardship of the environment.

Registration is offered in multiple periods with different fees and t-shirt availability. Early bird registration through September 15 includes the following: the fun run is free (t-shirt available for $15), 5K adults (over 12) $35 with t-shirt included, and 5K children (12 and under) $15 with t-shirt included. Regular registration from September 16 to October 9 increases 5K adult and child fees and generally does not guarantee a t-shirt unless registered by September 15. Event-day registration is available on October 10 with higher fees.
Race-day packet pickup and late registration are available at the venue. A 5K course map is provided for the event. Results can be posted automatically when participants connect a Twitter account to the event results system. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
