Pre-registration fees are listed for each distance and day-of registration fees increase by $5. Online registration closes on Friday, August 14. All-day zoo admission is included with registration for participants. Spectators must purchase zoo admission to enter, even if they are zoo members.
Included with registration are official event promotional items, chip timing for the 10K and 5K, custom top finisher medals, post-race refreshments, and same-day online results. The 1-mile fun run has a free participation category for children aged five and under; that free category does not include an event promotional item.
The event offers charity team fundraising options. Suggested fundraising goals are $500 for individuals and $2,000 for teams. Participants who raise $250 or more become official charity team members and receive a special team shirt shipped after the event; those who raise $500 or more also receive the shirt and a refund of their race registration fee.
