Run the Ridge - North Ridgeville
Run the Ridge is the 32nd annual 5K run and walk held in North Ridgeville, Ohio on August 8, 2026. The event is presented by the Lions Club of North Ridgeville and benefits pediatric cancer research. The venue is North Ridgeville Ranger Stadium at 34600 Bainbridge Road.

The Kid's Fun Run is a quarter mile lap around the high school track. Registration opens April 1, 2026. Pre-registration and race day fees differ by category: 5K adults are listed at $35 pre-registration and $40 race day; 5K ages 19 and under are $25 pre-registration and $30 race day; the Kid's Fun Run is $10 for pre-registration and race day. Mailed pre-registered entries must be postmarked by August 5, 2026.
Early packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at the North Ridgeville Academic Center. Race morning activities include day-of registration and packet pickup, followed by the Kid's Fun Run and the 5K run and walk. Participants receive a custom finisher medal, custom t-shirts for registrations received by August 1 subject to availability, post-race food and drinks, live chip timed 5K results, and awards. Awards include top overall male and female and top three male and female finishers in multiple age categories. Dogs are allowed with a short leash and should line up in the back.
