Outlands Endurance Races : April 18, 2026

The Outlands Endurance Races take place at Peninsula Campground in Pilot Hill, CA on April 18, 2026. The event offers three trail distances that run along the lakeside edges of Folsom Lake and use singletrack and double-wide trails. Courses are out-and-back and start from Peninsula Campground.

Course details and race logistics

• 25K : 15.5 miles, 1,452 ft elevation gain, out-and-back, 2 aid stations, cut-off at Mile 12.8 (Rodgers Gang Aid Station).
• 50K : 31.1 miles, 3,407 ft elevation gain, out-and-back beyond Acorn Creek Parking Lot, 4 aid stations, drop bags allowed at Acorn Creek, cut-offs at Mile 17.3, Mile 25.6, and finish.
• 50M : 50 miles, 6,100 ft elevation gain, out-and-back to Magnolia Ranch, 7 aid stations, drop bags allowed at Acorn Creek and Magnolia Ranch, cut-offs at Miles 13.7, 21.6, 24.7, 27.9, 35.7, and 44.2.

Aid stations on all courses will offer water, hydration mix (including Skratch), gels, chips, candy, potatoes, bananas and light or warm foods. Both the 50K and 50M count toward the Sierra Ultra Trifecta. Registered runners receive event swag including a runner hat, a custom wood award, and a post-race meal. The event supports The Unity Initiative, a program matching participant donations to selected nonprofit partners for future race discounts.
