Outlands Endurance Race : April 18, 2026, Pilot Hill, CA
The Outlands Endurance Race is held at Peninsula Campground in Pilot Hill, California on April 18, 2026. The event offers trail out-and-back courses that use singletrack and wider trails along the Folsom Lake area. Runners receive an Outlands runner hat, a custom wood award, and a post-race meal; top finishers receive a custom wood plaque or standing award. The 50K and 50M both qualify toward the Sierra Ultra Trifecta.
Distances, aid, and cut-offs
- 25K (15.5 mi) - out-and-back beyond the campgrounds; 1452 ft elevation gain; 2 aid stations.
- 50K (31.1 mi) - out-and-back beyond Acorn Creek Parking Lot; 3407 ft elevation gain; 4 aid stations.
- 50M (50 mi) - out-and-back to Magnolia Ranch; 6100 ft elevation gain; 7 aid stations.
Aid stations are stocked with water, hydration mix, light snacks, and warm foods; some stations list gels, chips, candy, potatoes, bananas, and Skratch Hydration. Drop bags are allowed at Acorn Creek for the 50K, and at Acorn Creek and Magnolia Ranch for the 50M. The 50K and 50M courses include specified cut-off points at named aid stations along the route.
