About the race
The Wild Turkey trail event at Beals Point, Folsom Lake, takes place on November 26, 2026. The event offers trail distances and a free kids fun run, and parking at the venue is paid unless the Poppy pass is used.
The routes use an out and back course along the levee. The 5K route is described as stroller friendly. The 10K route includes singletrack sections and greater elevation change, and is not stroller friendly.

There is one aid station on course; runners on the 5K pass it once and runners on the 10K pass it twice. This is a cupless event, so participants must carry or bring a cup or bottle for drinks.
