About the race
MandaRUN is an annual road race presented by the Loomis Basin Education Foundation supporting the Loomis Union School District. The 2026 event takes place on Sunday, November 22, 2026, with the finish area at Loomis Train Depot Plaza in Loomis, California.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon point-to-point course from Placer High School in Auburn to the Loomis Train Depot
- 5K
- Children's 5K for ages 12 and under
The Half Marathon follows a marked, gently rolling route with mile markers, directional arrows, and course volunteers; roads remain open to traffic and participants must share the roadway. The event is chip-timed by Capital Race Management. Aid stations on the Half Marathon are located at approximately miles 2.5, 5.5, 8, and 10 and provide water, Gatorade, and basic first-aid supplies. Restrooms are available near the start, along the Half Marathon route, and at the finish area.
Entry policies and race services are published by the organizers: race shirts are provided (long sleeve for Half Marathon, short sleeve for 5K) with guaranteed sizes for registrations received by October 31; entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Awards are presented by age division for 1st through 3rd place in each race, and special mandarin awards are given to some age-division winners depending on crop availability.
