The race is a one-lap 10k event with fully closed roads and an undulating route that includes a scenic section toward the end. The race start and finish are on Church Street and the event headquarters is at Smithfield Street, Oswestry, SY11 2EG. Finishers receive a medal and water at the finish.

Course, access and race information

The route runs on town roads and includes Church Street, Morda Road, Nant Lane, Trefonen Road, Oswestry Road and Upper Brook Street. Roads on the route will be closed for safety; residents who need to leave by car during closures are advised to move their vehicles beforehand. Spectators are asked to stay off the course until runners have passed and may watch from pavements, with particular views at the start and finish on Church Street. The event has a race cut-off time of 90 minutes.

Event HQ is a short walk from several town-centre car parks. Named car parks include Bailey Head (SY11 1PZ) and Salop Road Central (SY11 2NR).
