Oswestry 10k
The Oswestry 10k takes place on Sunday 11 October 2026 in Oswestry, Shropshire. The event HQ is at Smithfield Street, Oswestry SY11 2EG, with the start and finish on Church Street and a single loop around the town centre.
The route is mainly on town roads, one lap, and is described as undulating with a scenic section towards the end. Roads are fully closed for the safety of participants and marshals. The race has a cut off time of 90 minutes and roads will re-open in line with this pace; runners falling behind the required pace may be asked to withdraw for safety.
The race village is a short walk from local car parks, retail shops, cafes and a nearby park. Parking is available at Bailey Head car park SY11 1PZ and Salop Road Central Car Park SY11 2NR. Organisers advise residents that road closures will affect travel on race day and to follow diversion routes if travelling into the town.
Finishers receive a medal. Prizes are awarded to the top three female and top three male finishers and to 14 age group winners. The event lists Hope House as its charity partner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
