Operation Golden Eagle 2026
Operation Golden Eagle is an outdoor endurance event located in the Wolf Run Wilderness Area in Pennsylvania. The course covers a distance of 9 miles and features a total elevation gain of 2,280 feet. Participants navigate the terrain while carrying weighted packs, with the event organized into three distinct categories based on the weight of the load being carried.
The event offers three participation tiers defined by the specific weight requirements of the dry loads. These weight classes include:
- Operation Golden Eagle Light: Participants carry a 10 lb dry load.
- Operation Golden Eagle Standard: Participants carry a 25 lb dry load.
- Operation Golden Eagle Heavy: Participants carry a 50 lb dry load.
The event takes place in Cammal, Pennsylvania, with the staging area located off Route 414 Highway. Registration is open for all three categories at a uniform price point.
