SHEastern States Weekend April 30 - May 3, 2026
SHEastern States Weekend is a women's running camp on the Eastern States course near Lock Haven, PA. The program combines guided group runs, clinics or evening talks at the lodge, and shared time on the trail. Over the weekend participants will cover more than 50 miles of trail and about 9,100 feet of elevation gain.
Daily structure includes departures for designated trailheads, group runs with three pace groups labeled Back, Mid, and Front, and one lead and one sweep per group to support navigation. Aid stations on the routes are planned and participants may refuel or stop at those locations. Routes pass through Eastern States aid stations numbered roughly 3 through 5, 7 through 10, and 14 to the finish.
Distances for the weekend routes include:
- Optional night run: ~5.4 mi, +830' and -869'
- Friday run: 13.7 mi, +3507' and -2327'
- Saturday run: 20.4 mi, +4643' and -4703'
- Sunday long: 10 mi, +1321' and -2387'
- Sunday short: 3.8 mi, +574' and -1526'
Accommodations are at Ponderosa Lodge & Golf with shared bedrooms, communal kitchen, and common areas. Required gear lists include a pack or belt, at least 1 liter of hydration, extra fuel, extra warmth, and a light source for the night run. GPX files and printed maps will be provided for navigation.
