Omni Turkey Trot
The Omni Turkey Trot is held on November 26, 2026 at Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa in Amelia Island, FL. The course starts and finishes at Racquet Park, next to the Verandah restaurant, and winds through a tree-canopied resort setting.
Event options include:
- 3.1 miles, chip timed 5K with a disposable timing chip.
- 1 mile, kids fun run not chip timed.
The 5K requires use of the provided timing chip for official results. A clock will be available at the finish. Packet pickup is offered the day before at the Racquet Park conference room and on race day at the race site. Parking is plentiful adjacent to the start and finish location.
Awards include race charms for top overall male and female and awards for the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups. Age groups run from 10 and under through 85 plus in standard five year bands.
Additional details: walking is permitted, bicycles and animals are not allowed on the course, strollers are allowed with later start placement, a water station will be available on course and at the finish, qualified medical personnel will be on site, the event is rain or shine, refunds are not issued, and a portion of proceeds will benefit the First Coast YMCA.
