Omni Turkey Trot 5K
The Omni Turkey Trot 5K takes place on November 26, 2026 at the Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa in Fernandina Beach, FL. The timed 5K starts and finishes at Omni Amelia Island Resort Racquet Park, located next to the Verandah restaurant, and follows a scenic route through a tree-canopied resort. Running or walking is acceptable; animals and bicycles are not allowed on the course.
Race options include:
- 5K (3.1 miles) Run/Walk, chip timed.
- 5K Youth Chip timed, open to ages 10 and under.
- 1 mile Kids Fun Run Not chip timed, open to ages 12 and under.
- 5K No swag Registration option without swag.
- 1 mile Kids Fun Run No swag Not chip timed.
Timing and scoring use a disposable chip attached to the back of the race bib; official times are not recorded without the chip. Packet pickup is available the day before at the Racquet Park conference room and on race day at the race site. Awards include charms for top overall male and female and top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, with age divisions from 10 & under through 85+. Parking is available next to the start location. Qualified emergency medical professionals will be on site at start and finish areas. A portion of proceeds benefits the First Coast YMCA.
