Event overview
The Omni Turkey Trot 5K takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, at the Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa in Fernandina Beach / Amelia Island, FL. The race starts and finishes at the resort Racquet Park next to the Verandah restaurant. The 5K course runs through the tree-canopied resort and allows running or walking. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the First Coast YMCA. Pets and bicycles are not allowed on the course. Parking is available next to the start and finish area.
Race details
- 5K Run/Walk - chip timed
- 5K Youth - chip timed, open to ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run - not chip timed, open to ages 12 and under
- No swag registration options for both 5K and 1 mile
The 5K distance is 3.1 miles. Timing uses a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib. Packet pickup is available the day before at the Racquet Park conference room and on race day at the race site. Awards include charms for top overall male and female and awards for the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Water will be available on course and at the finish. Qualified emergency medical professionals will be on site. The event is held rain or shine. Entry fees are listed for each event. Transfers of entries are permitted.
