Olga Memorial Footrace
The Olga Memorial Footrace is the 29th annual community road event held on August 15, 2026 at Berkeley Green, Main St. and Broadway in Saranac Lake. The event offers timed running races and a walk, and supports local youth programs and literacy efforts.
Race options include:
- 5K run
- 10K run
- 5K walk
Registration opens April 27 and closes August 14. Pre-registration is listed at $25 with race day registration at $30. A family maximum fee is listed at $75 for two adults and two children. Youth entry options are listed at $10 without a t-shirt and $15 with a t-shirt. Registration includes a t-shirt and a runner's bag.
The course is described as mostly flat, circling Moody Pond and passing Lake Flower. The 10K is a two-loop course and is stated to be a full 10K distance. There are three water stations along the course and free refreshments. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age division for the 5K and 10K runs, and to top male and female finishers in two age divisions for the walk.
