St. B's Black Fly 5K Run, Walk, Roll or Stroll
The St. B's Black Fly event is a community running and walking event held at Dewey Mountain Recreation Center in Saranac Lake, NY (State Rte 3). Proceeds support St. Bernard's School and its mission to provide a quality, affordable education. The course uses trails at Dewey Mountain and includes a shorter one-loop option on the trails for younger participants.
Participants receive a custom-designed t-shirt while supplies last. Prizes are awarded by age category. Post-event activities take place at the Lodge and include food and drinks and a community celebration. A family rate offers a $10 discount for families of four or more during registration.
Distances offered:
- 5K for adults; registration fee $25.00.
- 5K for students; registration fee $20.00.
- 1K one loop for students; registration fee $20.00.
